Jeez I was spoiled when I was a teenager into my 20s staying on the Tornamona in Peel for race weeks !!

So I am looking for advice on where to stay B&B or Small family hotels or even Glamping pods as long as its two singles

Between the evening of the 26th August until the morning of the 31st August

Any constructive advice Well received

I have a price of £375 for the Sefton Express but its non refundable! Eeeek!!!

Looking to be somewhere on the course for the Saturday Classic races

Spoil yourself and stay in the Sefton. You won't regret it. We usually Tent or Campervan, but have 1 night in the Sefton just because it a great place to end our stay.

It was more of a question of I need "posssibly" a couple of weeks to sort leave and make sure I have all the bases covered

Paying first with a no cancel option is quite daunting

It may be that the Runes do not fall well for this excursion !

I’ve stayed in the Empress a lot. Last year stayed in the Sefton purely for the private car park.

Lovely hotel, I’m staying there again this year.

The Sefton Express is near the airport, it’s more of a Premier Inn type of place. It’s not the Sefton on the front in Douglas.

Yes, avoid the Sefton Express, it's across the road from the airport and a bit out of the way.

All IOM tourist accommodation is regulated by the Government.
Its searchable here https://www.visitisleofman.com/

As someone has already advised there is homestay too. This is also licensed by the gov!!

You may be able to find a private deal but these are unlicensed and there's no recourse if it goes pear shaped.
