Re_ Rides

A per my e mail sent (unfortunatley no response)

Hi There

My wife Claire & I are coming across weekend of 21st Feb for our wedding anniversary - so please book some good weather!

Can we join in your ride - I've been going through my IAM - hopefully will have been tested by then as unfortunately bad weather here in the Lakes has necessitated postponement. Claire passed her basic bike test in Sept - both on GS 650's, therefore we will be going slow - will this be a problem?

Regards

Keith Longney

and? where did you come from me dear? ooooh.....another one :-)
fancy a cuppa?
Moo x
:D

Been a lurker for a while, but after reading so many funny and informative threads, and realising that owning a GS is more than just "having a bike", I thought I'd better participate :)

Oooh, I'd love a cuppa, when and where? :D

I can't imagine you spent too much time in the upright position, even when you were going in straight line

No not really, but then I very rearly am in an upright position. the only thing that keeps my upright is the sticky out bits, and the fact that if I get my knee down it will be closely followed by my ass and elbow.....:D:D:D:D

Dermot and I were in Ballaugh when the hoolie really started ...Derm doing some electrical work for a mate ; me doing a rather soothing puzzle which Jane and I have been trying to finish since before Christmas. Ended up with 2 pieces missing in the end:(

but ...listening to that ...my goodness I was glad I wasn't out in it. Interesting journey home tho' - car being blown all over the bloody shop! Wouldn't have been on a bike for love nor money!

Went to Peel for icecream today! Gorgeous waves!! calmer tho!!:)
