I am planning a trip to the IoM TT this year from 29 May to 2 June. First time on the IoM, first time at the TT, first long journey on my new GS, so it would be good to travel with others.......

My travel arrangements are:
  • ride from North East of England 28 May
  • overnight in Liverpool 28 May
  • ferry Liverpool to Douglas, IOM early 29 May
  • camp/hotel/B&B (tbd) 29 May - 2 June
  • ferry Douglas to Liverpool late afternoon 2 June
  • ride to heathrow area

Cheers

Well if the boat's not booked, he won't be getting on it, that's for sure. I'm also heading for the IOM on Thursday 29th May, and I booked it 52½ weeks in advance!
Seriously, BM won’t be the only GS on The Island for TT, and for a first timer it’s going to eb a real eye opener for him. Welcome to planet motorcycle.

comments below. I've had the ferry booked now for months, but I was hanging out on accomodation, which is all sorted. Any fellow GSERs on the route or in the IOM then it would be good to meet.

As per my reply here: http://www.ukgser.com/forums/showthread.php?368746-TT-2014

I'm going again, this will be my 14th year.
Camping at Glenlough ..first time TT camping, did a dummy run with the tent and camp bed (to check bed actually fits in the tent and that is it comfy) on Sunday.

Spent the night in the garden, it was bloody freezing so hopefully it won't be as cold during TT period or i'll be buying a new sleeping bag...but the bed fitted and was comfy so that was the main objective of the excersize.

I'll be on my FireBlade, with a friend in tow on his new 600 Hornet (MissB is missing it this year).
