Has anyone tried the Isotta seat for the 1300gs?. Motorworks have them listed & wondered if the seats are any good?.

I asked the same question a couple of weeks ago as they look reasonably priced compared to the usual brands

Unfortunately nobody answered so I guess they’re a bit new

I guess no reply or did you go ahead and bought one? Definitely I need to swap my comfort saddle.. right bike, too tall with that

I've ordered a Wunderlich high heated seat but they are on back order, expected in March. Had a Wunderlich seat on previous 1250gs and found it an improvement over the standard BMW seat.

Realise this is an old thread but just ordered the heated version of this for the Trophy. Pillion going to be a few weeks but hopefully the rider one will be here before my Saturday three day trip to Wales. Will update once i have tried it. It has to be better than the original. £552 for both with heat that just plugs into original connectors

Pictures from FB where i cant find the name to credit them so apologies if you are on here670882269_10238838686093094_4390965912170073944_n.jpg589882373_2310659526080885_3078654486865920822_n.jpg

I've just fitted Isotta seats and they are much better than the OEM comfort seats - not too soft, not too hard, but the memory foam makes a huge difference, and I can ride very easily for 2+ hours without needing a break. I also fitted Isotta on my previous bike (Honda) and I was equally impressed.

Just back from an 800 mile tour of South and mid Wales.
As tubinia says these are very comfortable seats. 3 seven hour plus days and the comfort is so much better than the BMW seats. Hard to explain as they feel too soft when first sitting on them but think that the comparison to the harder BMW seat. No coccyx problems at all

The heating on them is fierce. On level one I could feel it through my textile trousers and it was hot.

Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a more comfortable solution. Just waiting for the pillion on to arrive.IMG_7811-1.jpg

They seem good value compared to others out there adey.

I would say (as its hard to see on the pictures) that its not an exact match blue. Any further towards purple and it would look purple if that makes sense. I think they look great on the bike.
The riders seat is just a direct replacement but I think (not sure yet) that you need to change over the black round "supports" on the pillion which is easy enough done. Will see when it arrives

yes was looking at the std black or trophy colours , still undecided only got the bike a week ago so need to get some longer days on it to see if i need to change the seat, have changed the pegs for sw motech evo ones and can get a good range of adjustment with them

Rider and pillion seat on my Trophy.

They always state this due to the fact that there is a layer of memory foam, but you settle/form into this layer - the very reason they are comfortable - so any increase in height is nominal.
I was concerned when I first read this, but it's never been noticeable or a problem on two different bikes.

will be interested in a report on the pillion seat, think i am definitely going with the rider seat after a longish day today in the saddle and pillion had a few grumbles by the time we got home.

So I have just ordered a standard hight black heated one for my new GS, 2 years with my first 13GS and the seat is the only part of the bike I don't get on with, had hoped the new 2026 ASA maybe came with a seat upgrade but sadly the same, looking forward to the Isota and fingers crossed the reports come true with me also...

did you guys order with the prostate channel or without

Taken the leap, based on your recommendations and just ordered the Isotta, low heated seat (red top face), with the prostate channel, for my GSA 'Trophy', from Pyramid. Hopeful this will add the extra hour of comfort!

Unfortunately, these seats seem to be on special order with 2-4 week lead time estimated. For my upcoming tour (North Wales) I leave 3 weeks on Monday. I may not get it in time for that, might have to resort to my faded old airhawk.
