Isotta seat for 1300gs

I looked but they didn’t offer the one with prostate channel when I ordered. They also had the same delivery time listed on their website as Pyramid (2-3 weeks).

I just cancelled my order with pyramid as they sent me a message saying there for be no stock until the manufacturing plant holiday towards the beginning of sept.

Can you order straight from Isotta ?
The one with the prostate channel is listed with a 5 week lead time. Don't know if I need the channel though...but it is the ßme price as the normal one

I didn’t bother with the heating, saved a few quid

I’ve just cancelled my order with Pyramid.

Their last email said it should be shipped this week from Isotta. I’ve just checked with them and it hasn’t, so no chance of it arriving for my trip at the end of the month.

I’ve seen a few in stock at other places and on eBay, but none in the combo of prostate channel+heating that I’m looking for.

Yes am in the same position. Let me know if you find any available stocks

I bought a black, stock hight, with heating from Pyramid, which was in stock at the time, now got to ride with it and have to say the difference for me is Large, much more comfortable, and I can now stay seated for as long as I want, heating if fearce, on Level one I was turning on and off to keep comfortable but maybe not if Its colder... Have only changed the front at this point, as ride solo, looks wise its fine by me, not a vast standout... So I say highly recommended...

It’s a good question indeed, as you say, I don’t think cost is really the issue

It always amazes me that bike manufacturers sell comfort seats as accessories, which basically says our standard seat is not the best we can do for this bike :nenau

I think when you buy a bike. You buy a cheaper basic bike then as part of the buying process you choose a seat and seat to suit your circumstances . I think manufacturers try to do a one size fits all which never works

The seat on a bike that is designed for long days and big mileages it should be one of the most important parts of the bike and lots of testing and thought should go into the seat,on the 1300 it seems more like an after thought.I'm convinced its the heating element that makes it more uncomfortable,id be interested to know from anyone who's seat isn't heated ?

I have the high seat too as it was part of the enduro pack so god knows what the low seat must be like.Having said that I got a new XR last year and that seat is paper thin but its strangely not that much less comfortable

That might be so for these bikes. I haven't found it to be a general rule. I had a heated seat on an R1250RT that was really comfortable and I have heating on the Isotta that's now on my GSA. That is also comfortable.

I ordered from motostorm.it on Saturday. Just got a UPS shipping notification to say it’s on its way. the ETA is Thursday this week.

Not sure how much taxes will be, but the seat was £295 including shipping

Did you go for the heated seat? I bought the pair (non heated) from Adventure Bike Shop for less than £500

Ta. Just ordered direct from isotta.. let's see.. it is frustrating that there are none listed in stock and a month lead time.
