A new day....
Very decent brekkie after a good nights sleep and then packing. We have a technique of a rucsac with change of clothes, washing kit etc goes in the top box meaning that we don't hump all the luggage up and down in the ship. Lock the panniers, tankbag into top box and off to the Sky Bar. Helmets and jacket into pacsafe locked to bike...even less humping.
Petrol and a Saturday(less trucks?) bimble into Ijmuiden beckons.
We go to the restaurant on the docks....you can see when they start to load the ship...

Good run up....more traffic than I expected, couple of minor delays, but most keeping to the 100kph national limit, nothing to change my opinion that this part of Europe is best traversed as quick as poss...

Fairly quick embarkation...wnty of room about the bike for the lashings....I carry a few loops to attach to thebike rather than puthooks on thebike itself, an undoable cable tie round the front brake and up to my luxury accommodation .....shower and up into the sun for a wee refreshment...
.....plenty....
Showered and en route to bar by 3.30....top job...

Plundered the duty free....that Old Poultney I spotted on the way out WAS a bargain....sold out...
