I just couldn't help myself. Rizoma side stand extender. Beautifully designed, beautifully made and beautifully packaged by of course...the Italians.

Factory lowered GS's lean over the same as std height as the side stand is shorter, I can't think of a reason why it shouldn't fit.

The shape of the foot is different between standard and lowered. I found this out because when I ordered a stand enlarger (not Rizoma) I ended up ordering a lowered one by mistake. Wouldn't fit. (mistake on website not me, so swapped for correct one)

It will all be down to the shape (footprint) of the bolt-on foot enlarger.

Think about it. Any bike has to be raised towards upright to raise the side stand. In order to clear the ground, the larger foot area will need a larger arc to swing through, meaning that the bike will have to be lifted further up, maybe even beyond vertical.

Make a bike low enough and the foot area wide enough and you'll need to lie the fecking bike on its side to get it off its stand. It's why very low bikes, like some HD and Victory cruisers have very long side stands, that go out nearly horizontal.
