Just bought one of these for my son.

£250 quid !

Anyone had experience of these, I believe they have a suzuki engine, very easy to tune apparently.

that looks cool :thumb

if its the standard italjet aircooled engine, theres loads of stuff you can do to them. Easiest being a big bore and carb. I wouldnt want to put a loud exhaust on such a bike. Keep it quiet to keep that retro coolness.

Variator, rollers and clutch can all easily be replaced also.

A great place for upgrades is www.scooter-attack.com

i could be wrong, but, IIRC they had a terrible build quality so it might be worth keeping an eye on it on a regular basis...hidden benefit is your son might learn something keeping it on the road..:comfort

Had one in 2000 Darling when they were Sooooooooooooh Cool!!!!! They are Pretty reliable so long as you remember the 2 stroke oil!! Did 45mph unrestricted and handy in town.Parts hard to get as Italjet now long gone, but they turn up on E Bay.keep it washed and clean and it should last.Tyres are 10 inch and dont last long,Hauled my 16 stone aroung though!!:thumb2
