I agree, but her trip to Saudi via Iraq and Iran and now Yemen really is a bit special, not many of us would have the confidence to do the same.

You crack on...ship your UK regd bike out (I think that is why she gets so much intereaction...the plate is a talking point), make sure you avoid the Houti controlled areas (according to Govt advice) and do a vlog for us all to watch.

She is not on her own bike because it is not allowed to ride a motorcycle into the country.

The Dutch government also advise against all travel too because their embassy is closed and can provide no help - Itchy Boots is far more resilient and far less negative that most, if not all on here - she has shown us that we should not always believe everything we are told.

My point is the British Passport is not so good for travel to these areas; she travelled through Iran without let or hindrance - you couldn't.

The recent events for the British motorcycling couple detained in Iran show this.

Best avoid these areas in this century - beautiful and historic as they are.

The middle east has always been in conflict for as long as I can remember and before; Britain was culpable in this in many ways too - I travelled to the middle east in the early 80s with work, including Egypt when Sadat was assassinated by fundamentalists.

The fact remains that the vast majority of normal people, no matter where they live are decent good people who welcome travelers and are proud of their country and heritage. Itchy Boots has highlighted this and shown us that the Yemen and its people are the same and not quite as the narrative we are so often fed.

Yes the NE of Yemen is best avoided for obvious reasons, but the entire country is not like that.

Definitely worth watching before passing judgement.

Absolutely (I'll apologise...I haven't watched her for the last 3 weeks so haven't seen the Yemen section) but if you're canny with what you read on just this site alone, there are a few who travel or have travelled to some of these remote or wartorn countries and the thing that seems to shine thru is that the 'people' of these countries are like the good people in all countries...so the vast majority of people globally ! (although reading other bits of this site you'd be forgiven for building a bunker and waiting for the imminent "end of the world"...)

I've met Noraly and watched all her videos from when she began. I like her and what she creates.

Theft and crime is not what I was referring to.
