It's arrived, my red GS-LC arrived yesterday, I'm not sure if it's a 'she' or a 'he' yet, time will tell, but it's a beautiful piece of kit! I love it! :comfort

Not sure about insurance, I had the free 5-day insurance from BMW to allow the dealer to tax the bike but subsequently went with MCE insurance,

I'm not sure now whether to cancel the MCE and go with BMW as they seem more grown up, as they will cover for Beema track days but MCE won't. I will have to forfeit £60 quid to cancel MCE and pay considerably more for the BMW cover!

Any feedback would be appreciated with ether of the two above insurance companies.

In my experience, you get what you pay for. I put my details into one of the search engines and got a fantastic low quote. Looking at it more closely, it did not cover continental travel, that was extra. I had to take it to their approved repairers etc.
I had an accident a couple of years ago in a car, there was just one call and everything was sorted, I have heard some of these budget companies can be difficult to deal with.

So did you go with the BMW insurance?

Congrats on the new bike.:thumb I'm with BMW insurance as my other bike is also a BMW, and they offer a good discount for additional BMW bikes. And, looking at all the other benefits, BMW insurance isn't as expensive as others.:beerjug:

Glad you like your bike, mine should be here sometime in August can't wait:cool:

I will be staying with Carole Nash and might get a reduction from my K1300R:nenau
