Went down to Wollastons today to collect the 1200GS.
The weather was incredible, lightening, monsoon rain like stair rods!!
The workshop was flooded!!!
Anyway couldn't wait any longer so took the plunge and rode the storm back to Coventry.
A lovely bike, better performance, nice riding position, massive weight loss and lovely and smooth...well compared to the 1150.
The only thing thats annoying me is the seat. Mega uncomfy!!! Tried both positions, don't like the low as it pushes you in to the tank so tried the high which is the right height but still tips you forward.
By the time I'd got home I wanted to get off as my arse felt like it had been tampered with!!!
I feel a trip to Melvyn hunter coming on to sort my seat, level it off to reduce the slope and insert the gel pads.
Screens not too bad as standard but far from perfect so I'll wait for the Nippy Norman wide and slightly taller screen to arrive.
Overall I'm very impressed although its going to take some getting used to as the 1150 gave you that planted to the road feeling where as the 1200 feels so much lighter.
Anyway I'm off to soak my arse in the wife footspa!!

Have no probs with mine now and personally like the canted forward position as it loads the front end more and suits my riding style.
