I have now completed the recce and the route is sorted. I found some really nice roads that will be ideal for the treasure hunt and for BigAl to get lost in. . All the paperwork is also done and so is the ride out to the Castle Inn on the Saturday. The route will go from Cardiff and head towards the Forest of Dean and up into Hereford area and then to the Pub
, a change from the normal routes up to Brecon Should be good
My bike was nice and clean whenI started, NOW?? covered in welsh mud and sheep shite

Anyone coming down from the North on Saturday? Or will I be the only Gogg there? 
Elvie and I are arriving on the Friday, so's to make a full weekend of it. Then back to Cardiff on the Saturday to meet up for the ride back to the pub. Should work up a good thirst and appetite.

Sat 3rd May-----Leave Cardiff ar 1200(ish) rideout through Forest of Dean, Lunch and then onto Castle Inn 1600(ish) (if big Al and the West Wales mob get to mine by 1200 I may even put the kettle on--NO BICCIES FATTY) A quick erection (tent type) then into pub for beer and steaks etc (if at all possible take a look at the Menu here;

Sunday Breakie at 0900 ish (to be booked) and the Treasure hunt will start at 1030 ish with People leaving at 5 minute intervals. There will be lunch stop half way through, Mel and I be there to take abuse and flak from Big Al when he gets lost. Pub 
opens at 1200 so theres no rush
What you will need for the treasure hunt.
2 pens (1 waterproof) min
2 bungees (to hold the questions onto your tank bag)—oh and a tank bag!
A small rucksack/pannier to collect things in
A map of the area or sat nav (just incase Bigal gets lost) Too find your way back to base
A sense of humour and willingness to forgive Me!
For the BBQ weather permitting/ will decide on the Friday and then post on here for definate. (if it's a no go then that will be another steak then)
A few dwinks while we take the in the evening air
and wait for the food and results!
A Plate and KFS
A glass or mug for the dwinkies
I'm planning a real BBQ, (with salady stuff as well naturally) If there are any veggies, declare yourselves now. No special requests or demands entertained I THANK YOU!!! MAX 20 PEOPLE, any more and the whole thing will be in the Pub, as I want to enjoy myself TOO!!!

I'm a veggie.

Neither Elvie or I are veggies, but love veggie food. Quite willing to help out if we can.
Not really an expert in the veggie stakes (oops a pun! ) I was planning to freeze everything down (meat wise!) and bring it all down Saturday in the car (well Mel will ) So it will be perfect on the Sunday. If you want to make some of what you like up for yourself, be my guest Gypsy can have a taste if ewe let him. Then on Saturday put them in the cool box to keep nice and cold,(or your tent ) away from the contaminating meat products naturally. I was planning on veggie bangers 
in my experience, or the like, which are shite on the BBQ. Anymore veggies????????????? Let Trangwales know

If there's no bickies Al i'm mot playin. And by the way I quite enjoy getting lost, you meet some very nice people 
and they always invite you in for a warm, and a cup of tea and chocolate bickie.
