Its On!!!! So Book Early

:rob
I hope no one's been out practising for this treasure hunt ... and don't forget that regardless of whether I've got a SatNav or not I can't be accused of being lost if I didn't know where I was in the first place.
Us Gogs only know where Llandrindod Wells is in any case. Anyone give me directions from the Metropole????

Believe me Rob no-one and I mean no-one has any idea what they have let themselves in for, except Mel and I (oh and my niece :blast) but the two girlies were needed to prove my directions :nenau worked, and all I can say is, if they got around the route okay (ish) then big Al will get lost for certain :augie
The satnav will only be used to get ewe back to the pub if/when ewe get confused  by the clues :thumb2

PS Bring a brolly!!!!!

Hope I can find the Castle inn Al,:augie What time is the barby startin on monday Al :D should be there by then.:augie

medicine

Me on bike Al and Jo in car with all the camping gear so she can have some creature comforts (more room for some " medicine" in the car:beerjug::beer:)
Nick[/QUOTE]

How much room you got for Medicine Nick,:augie The doctor has advised me to have at least 6 to 7 glasses an hour:eek just to keep the ticker going.

it's official, the BBQ is on, regardless of the weather, as I have just brought all the food :blast :Motomartin:drinkinpa:drinkinpa Bring your shorts and flip flops, or flop flips :nenau If the worst comes to the worst, a quick ride out to Llyn Brianne reservoir on the Monday for a BBQ lunch :thumb
I will be bringing 2 tarps and bungyies just in case, bigAl is bringing a Gazeeeeeebo(the frame is the minimum requirement :augie)
Just spoke to Heather (landlady) and the camp site is booked but filling up, so it may be a squeeze----hope your tents not a marque :augie. Those camping will save a space for the Gogg as he may be a little late :thumb
Don't forget Beer, plate & KFS, stool and brolly did I mention beer :augie There is a drying room if needed :D:D
Gypsy and Elvie are already there, fecking keen or what. Hope they saved enough pitches for everone, Me??? In the Pub B&B, Mel insisted, honest :augie

Hi Allan,

If Ian and Chris are already there are the rest of us meeting at your gaf for 12 tomorrow.

I'll bring another tarp, should have enough room for a disco:D

Cheers Paul we need another tarp, went to get mine, then remembered I lent them to my sister in Jan :blast :blast So all I have is the bungyies. We will need 2 I reckon. The weather forcast for Sunday is improving :nenau Rain :( in the morning and sunny in the afternoon (heard that B4) Still be wearing me shorts either way.

Meeting at mine at 1200 for kerwoffee and choccie bics. Ian and Chris are riding down to meet us for the rideout aswell. So that will be 6 bikes in total!
See then!:thumb2

Just back, safe and sound, and about to wash the bikes. Many thanks to everyone for making it such a great w/e, and especially to Mel and Al for the hard work put in on the BBQ, and the treasure hunt ( even if Chris and I didn't find the treasure ) Hope everyone else gets home safely, and looking forward to the next meet. Ian

Yet another great GSing weekend.

Thanks to Mel and Allan for the organising and bbq, great location and company.

Many thanks to the white Fiesta for the cheek clenching moment, I always wondered what double white lines were for.

It happened again just below the Nant Ddu Lodge. Exit corner 2 cars coming in my direction, car in my lane making a rather laboured overtaking manouver.

I'm afraid I lost the plot at this point and flashed a bird.:(

The Storey Arms was like circus.

Cheers Ian & Paul, ewe are most welcome kind SIR'S!!! My fecking fingers are killing me, now do I pull a sicky or not :rolleyes:

You don't half attract those car drivers, Paul. It must be your magnetic personality :augie

what the Storey was full of clowns, or there were lots of chimps, riding there bikes :D

Out of curiosity, what time did you finish the treasure hunt?

Really enjoyed the Saturday night - pity I couldn't stay for the Sunday BBQ / Treasure Hunt. :tears

Well done Allan and Mel for all your organising work. :thumb2

"Some finished earlier than others" mentioning no names.

We were all back before dark and tucked around the barbee waiting for the rain that didn't come.

P.S. Found the link to Ian & Chris's exploding Whale. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=1_t44siFyb4

Thanks to all for a cracking weekend. To Allan and Mel of course for organising it all, and a special thanks to PW for being kind to me when I didn't realise the correct way to manage gates between riders. Doh!
And all OK with Mum as well - the dash home was only spoiled by the young driver who chose to park his Corsa half-way up a tree between Welshpool and Llanymynech. It slowed the caravans down for a bit!
Can't remember the last time I had so much fun. Beats mountain biking!!
Piccies from the Half Moon attached.
ps the latest KTM-GS is parked in the foreground ....
