Its official, the curse of the Irish in Wales has been broken! Following several Irish expeditions to Wales, with mounting repair costs, and hospital bills, we're glad to report that a successful trip has been completed, with both riders returning to Irish shores unharmed and bikes intact. In '07 the Irish trips to Wales have suffered, 1 broken collar bone, one broken wrist and damaged hip, another broken arm and countless bruises. Bike damage has resulted in two bikes returning home on trailers and high repair costs to engines, cylinder heads, radiators, farings and the like.
Myself and BB1 headed off on Friday a little wary of what lay ahead, but it seems the curse of the Irish in Wales has been left behind in 2007. Not for want of trying by the local sheep mind

We had a fantastic weekend with the ADV rider crew, did some excellent green lanes (not so much green, more brown and very wet!):D

The write up is starting to build here

How did Terry get on?

Terry signed up for the advanced pogo ride, even though he was on the 640. He just stormed up everything as good as (and sometimes better than) the small bikes. Respect!:thumb
He was supposed to be taking the same ferry home as us. We didnt see him on it, although it was 2am, so he was probably sleeping in a corner somewhere.

Are you sure the curse is lifted??
If you're really really sure..SIGN ME UP FOR THE NEXT WALES TRIP:bounce1

Thanks for posting the link Orla and glad you and Eoin got back in one piece.

Did Forry not have his camera.... he seems very subdude...maybe he should tart smoking again.

Glad you had an uneventful trip :D

I stayed at home as I am getting married this friday and I was a bit worried the :aidan curse might find it's way in my direction. I would be fine but my mum would never forgive me :spitfire

See you and BB1 and maybe some of the others again at some point I hope.
Rich
