It's taken hours of polishing but

My arms are now like Popeyes, but I've managed to save my headers after stupidly using Optiglanz on them (note to others: DO NOT use Optiglanz on chrome). I know that as soon as I turn the key they will go blue again, but the OCD in me had to get them back to showroom finish.

Here they are before polishing, but after Optiglanz:

Nope, it's the Adventure screen with winglets. You can tell it's winter, I've cleaned it more than I've ridden it!

All by hand. I used Autosol and some specialist chrome cleaner. Well worth the effort though.

I'm just waiting for comments about the tax disc

I'll even let you ride it afterwards. That way you can save your headers.

That is the best positioned tax disc I have ever seen on a GS. Can we start a new thread and hold your bike up as an example of how to mount a tax disc on a GS?
