Do you miss the old side bar?

just like iTunes 10.

cheers

Gerry H.

CMD key? is that a mac thing? cant find such a beasty on my PC and I miss the side bar too... :/

i miss the ability to open a playlist in a separate window, so i can dump songs in.

like the Up Next feature. i think i'll use it a lot.

Alternatively just lock the tool bar in place and toggle 'sidebar' under 'view'.

I like the new iTunes although it's still a bit shonky on a PC :)

stupid idea having the minimise button on the right and maximise on the left :blast

what was wrong with the old "traffic light" control for the mini player (mac only)?

...and i had to restart itunes before i could add a book.

God, I'm hating iTunes 11 more and more everyday.

i miss the ability to open a playlist in a separate window, so i can dump songs in.

Me too.

Have moved music from your mac to one (or more ipods)?
Absolute pain in the arse.

The first hint that something was wrong was those arrows pointing to the UI's buttons on the first launch.

overall, i'm liking it, but i'm easily impressed by good looks :)

i've not moved any music from mac to ipod, as all my ipads/phones sync with iTunes Match in that there Cloud. to my great annoyance, that means songs i have locally on my mac, that could be transferred quickly via wi-fi or, god forbid, cable, now have to be downloaded to the device from apple. thank feck for unlimited d/l limits i say.

i still have to sync books and mags to them though in the old way, and that seems just the same as ever.

.

What's really annoying is that you have to be wi-fi'd up to stream tunes via Match. There is a way to copy yer actual files across - see linky, 5 boxes down...

Got the sidebar back with that ... great :thumb

Now I notice the 'Radio' option is missing ....

No real problem for me, I use 'TuneIn Radio' on the iPad/iPhone

BUT what is the best option for 'storing' saved radio stations on the desktop iMac?

Or even finding them in the first place :nenau

i wonder why double clicking on the title bar at the top to minimise the iTunes window has been disabled?

makes no sense, it's a global mac OS-X feature :eek

otherwise, no issues with 11 at really. can't see what all the wailing and gnashing of teeth is all about.

those that have "upgraded to 10, may well have to "downgrade" back to 11 when things stop working for them or they find features are not available, their new ipad won't connect to the PC etc.
