folks, looking to pick your brains on this one
'04 R1150GSA approx 30K miles
I used to have the bike fitted with a y-piece and remus exhaust and it used very little oil if any, now over winter decided on a change so fitted 17" cast wheels and refitted the cat and a stubby and it now seems to use oil at a fair old rate ?
now in my world, a less restrictive system means less back pressure so an engine could use a bit of oil as it get blasted out the pipes ?
the system currently on sounds quieter than the y-piece/remus which in my head means the cat is more restrictive ? but it appears to be using more oil there no loss of power if anything there feels more mid range.
anybody any thought as I'm a bit perplexed with this un
