With the Heroes Legend being delayed I've decided to enter this event. This roadbook event will be a good test of me and the bike.

My plan is to be supported by Reg Moule a veteran at supporting this event who will also transport my bike, kit and box to and from the event more details of his package here: http://www.enduronews.com/clubs/RPM.htm

Any body else intrested ?

Looks good

I would be interested in having a serious conversation about it.

I'll see you there then.

PS i'm doing transport over to the event again.

I use a 4x4 and a 6 bike trailer bikes picked up in the UK begining of the week before and delivered to Spain included in transport 1 spares box 1 kit bag and 2 tyres/wheels we will have the run of the mill spares at the event tyres in 18/21 inch sizes others can be supplied but must be pre ordered oils will be available bikes will be delivered back to the UK 3-4 days after the event.
Honestly it's a enjoyable event in some beatiful countryside and you get to meet some nice people in the event.

Good luck ....

I done it the 1st year they ran it and the scenery is magic "if you get time to look at it " that was when Spain and the Euro started , we felt like we could not spend money there ... you will be well looked after by Reggie and look out for that scoundrel Big Brian ...... Good luck and enjoy ... it is the area where BMW done the promotional work for the HP2 in Los Alamos.

During the day for backup I encurage my assisted riders to make use of the free organisers service.

What kind of level of rider skill is required for this event?

Pretty much anybody with some off road experience.

Last year their was two courses each day Amature and Proffesional and it's the riders choice which course he does for each day and during the week you can have a few rest day's without any problems.

Think of the Pro copurse as all the Pogo bikes and the Amature course as the trail bikes.
you get the map of the course for each day so if needed you can get off the course if your running late. riders get penalised for missing CP's (Check Points) but the event is more set up for fun and enjoyment.

Hi Brian. Tried to PM you but see you don't that that function. Can you give me a call to discuss costs etc. Tel: 07778 910221 Simon

That looks interesting.I live 1hour from there........might just decide to have a go myself.

I'm very interested

I need to talk to the wife about it today. Wish me luck.

I'm not sure which bike to take.

The 950SE or the BMW g450x.

I'm concerned about the tank range on the BMW which is about 70 miles.

Are there regular refueling stops ?

I'm sure in the regs it said OK for MAV

Visit the site, check out the pictures and do a quick search on youtube.

The link to Reg has his number, give him a call and he'll give you some good insight.

I fancy a go just got to convince Lilith:D
Don't know whether to take GS or HP2, but if Lilith rides it'll be the GS's at dawn:thumb

You'll enjoy yourself more on the 450 but as you say fuel is a issue I would recommend carring a couple of Sigg 1 litre bottles to extend your range the normal expected range from a rally bike is around 150Kms yes there are regular fuel stops on the course, every day at lunch there is fuel.
