Iv'e got the bug and need a GS

Hi everybody out there. At forty+ I became a born again biker having laid dormant for 20 years and did what I regard as the sensible thing.
I bought a Varadero, took an enhanced rider course and last year rode through fifteen countries in sixteen days, camping en-route.
I traveled as far East as Prague, as far south as Medjugorje in Bosnia and as far West as Portugal. Then having done almost 6000 miles I returned home to my family.
I sold the Varadero last October and I am now looking for an affordable 1200GS.
I havn't told the wife but I fancy Nordcap this year and Morocco in 2011.

Bike travel is taking over my life.

Come to some of the events being held this year - and hide the Touratech price list from your wife.....
 
I can only wish for an adventure like yours, sounds fantastic. If you're going to be doing alot of Globetrotting have you considered a GS Adventure as well as a GS?

What about an 1150, GS/A? Some say better built and cheaper to buy.

1150 gsa will do everything you need, there seems to be some cracking ones on here for sale at the mo.

1200 gsa, superb bike in every way, but not as nice as an 1150

read up on the 1200 on here before making your decisions.
