Mapsource worked fine on my old computer!! However, I have Mapsource Metroguide Europe v.4.00 which loaded fine, but didn't ask for the second CD when installing - which I assume contained the maps?.

I then downloaded the latest Mapsource 6.15 - so have the latest version - and it seems to work fine - full European maps.

Also, I've just bought a Zumo 400 with European mapping, together with software DVD "Map Update 2008 CN Europe NT" which is also loaded onto an SD card in the Zumo, and is working fine.

However, I can't seem to find any way to install these new maps onto my Mapsource program, which I assume is showing the old v.4.00 maps - or would the fact that I downloaded v.6.15 mean I have the latest maps showing?

Confused of Bridgwater :nenau

If you only have a DVD "Map Update of 2008 CN Europe NT"and have an unlock code . then you can install it onto the Pc by launching the CN.msi file .there are a few references to this in these forums.

Thanks a million, Dave - it worked - although at first I couldn't see any difference - then I discoved the "View - Switch to product" option - and there it was!! Another happy numpty!!

Mike

There should also be a drop down box in the top left of the Mapsource screen that shows the product options!
You can also check which version of Mapsource you are running by selecting "Help" from the top Menu bar then select "About Mapsource"
Edit:
If you have cn 2008 working ok then there is not much point in keeping MG v4 on your PC as it is very out of date and not of any real practical use
