OK. I've been hanging around here for a couple of years now. I have learnt loads. Had a great day out with some mad people on Salisbury plain and put 25k onmy 1999 R1100GS with loads of grins

And then SWMBO (Physiojo) goes and passes her test and falls in love with an f650GS from Park Lane. The Sales guy asks if sir would be interested in a new bike as well. Would I ever! So after much soul searching I have put some money down and will take possession of a red 2007 R1200GS with wire wheels heated grips and on board computer and not much else. I doubt its a good deal, but sometimes the heart ought to win.

I'll post some pics next week of mine and Swimbo's. Now all I need is the money to bling it. Engine bars, Kappa rack for a top box, Jarre Safari paniers when they are available, pyrmid hugger LED rear lights..........

Ho hum who needs to rich.

Here is my joy

Wow!

This is the best. I have not stopped smiling since Monday. Great handling. so smooth and together. better in traffic than my 1100 and completely assusred on grot and gravel. I took it down to Rochester Tuesday evening around Meopham and sole street. Didn't put a foot wrong
