Wanted Jacket and Trousers for my son

So, will be going on a bike trip this year with my son, already bought new helmet/boots for him, will be using gloves that my daughter has used but the jacket and trousers are posing a bit of a problem. Not wanting to spend loads of money on a jacket and trousers that will most likely only be worn on this trip.

Sizing:
At sportsbikeshop.co.uk, tried on Oxford mondial clothing that seems to fit:

Jacket: Small (website says 38" chest)
Trousers: Medium regular (34" waist, 30-32" legs)

Anyone have anything that doesn't cost 100's of pounds and doesn't smell of cock and balls?

mine always smell of cock and balls and particularly shite if my arse leaks but I wash them after trips. .....

love to help as I do have some older kit that I am happy to give away but not in the size you need.

Thanks for the thought, I have been checking regularly, but 'most' of the stuff on here tends to be the stuff that costs 1k new and then selling for a few hundred ££'s - was hoping that someone may have had some kit they hadn't thought of selling and was in my position at some point and now the kit they bought just sits in a cupboard somewhere

I am of the opinion that unless it’s expensive stuff like Klim or Rukka then for me if someone can use it and it goes to a good home then I’m happy at that. No need for money…

I am travelling at the mo but when I get back I have quite a lot of older kit jackets and troos which I will post up in “bike related free stuff”. As said it’s not crap it’s fine it’s just that I change my kit a bit too often so if it goes to a good home and doesn’t end up on EBay then it can go for free. Only thing I really don’t want the hassle of buying and boxing things so it would have to be collect from east Laaaahdun.

I have a pair of Weise textile trousers with removable waterproof liner in great condition. They are a medium (34-36" waist) and inside leg is 31"
I was going to put them up for sale for £45 but you can have them for £35 posted and I will put some 3D0 armour in the knees.

Hein Gericke Master suit in pretty much those sizes.
Goretex still waterproof with liners.

I have what would be ideal for your son and the right sizes pants are w34, jacket is a euro 48 uk 38.

Bmw Streetguard 3, not had much use, fully waterproof (not like my £2k Rukka that lets in water) and thermal liners.

Non smoker so it don’t stink of fags and I’m not a sweaty stinker.

I’ve just taken it out of its hanger bags it came in and given it a wipe down, it’s as good as new.

it’s probably worth couple hundred quid however If it’s of any use your lad can have it FREE you would have to sort out collection from Derby.

If you want it for your lad pm me your address and I’ll find a box and post it out to you next week, don’t worry about the postage. It will keep him warm and dry and has all the protection in the pants and jacket so he will be well protected.

If he needs anything else that he can’t source, get him to look at Vinted. I’ve just bought a brand new mesh summer jacket with armour…….for £8. Richa waterproof over jacket for £12. Some absolute bargains on there.
