Should it be served as a short or as a pint? The big one was too much , but a half pint sems reasonable.

I favour it as a shooter, not sure about the Vodka, Red Bull and Jaegermeister concoction that I think Doyle was shoving in our hands recently....)

Best served as a shooter served from the freezer.
Young team drink it as a bomb with red bull. (What age is Doyle.)
Serve quite a few with coke as per Ronno`s suggestion.
I keep it in the fridge behind the bar. Its great after a meal, helps digestion.
IMO tastes crap at room temp.

Had my first experience with it on Sat night, me and one of my brothers managed go get through a bottle of the stuff
Managed to stagger home at about 4.00 in morning and sat on the window sill outside my front door, must have fell asleep with hands in jacket pockets,fell flat on my face and broke my nose !!

TBH it's a herbal drink meant to be taken after a meal to aid digestion (as per G.C.'s post). I've never seen anyone get totally blitzkrieged on it apart fae the SS trip to the Hinterstädtelfest and then at the Killin Bunkhoose Night.

Maist Germans drink "normal" schnapps like Williams and Mirabella when they're on the lash. Mind you, the Junge Team in Deutschland might noo ha'e different drinkin' habits. It's mostly Alte Menchen that I hae a swallie wi'...

Tried it last weekend for the first time, neat it tasted like cough medicine, mixed with coke it had a distinct mouthwash flavour.
I think I will stick to Buckfast with a snakebite chaser, far more refined.

Take one bag of 'Rhubarb Rock' you know the lurid red sweetie with green outer?? Crush to a fine powder then disolve in a bottle of vodka for a neat sweet total headf*ck!!
