I have just moved down to Devon and am not too far from James Sherlock, an independant BMW dealer. Has anyone used him for servicing their pride and joy and would you recommend him.

Pretty good from what I've heard and service costs are definitely real world by all accounts.

Mgowland.....

:D

Wot kind of name is that.......?

Anyway, ello m8, i use Sherlocks, even bought my gehime strasse
or whatever its called from there....top place for your needs, realistic prices..decent coffee and a nice ride back to Exeter...

So give em a try,

Bilko. (page 476 of the Nobbit) :p

They are also ostentatious barsteds who's friendliness seems to grow depending on the size of your wallet, "now what can I sell this credulous looking patron today"

They're excellent.

My wallet's as skinny as I am and they've always been good as gold to me. The eponymous boss takes a real interest in every customer and service and his prices are realistic, especially when compared with dealerships.

Go for it.

Usual disclaimer.

Cheers guys, I'll give em a try, especially as the run up there from Exeter involves some pretty good roads. Thanks

Did they kill your Tortoise ?

I travelled to them from Guildford to buy a spare seat for refurbishing. They seemed a really nice bunch of people, very relaxed and knowledgable. I will be using them for a major service when needed.
