About 10 months ago I bought both Left and Right Throttle bodies and these were sold as new on the shelf and also purchased TPS as well, Fitted all three and no matter what we did we could not get the bike to tick over and eventually had a BMW specialist look at it, he discovered the left hand side throttle body had a fault and the only answer was to buy a new replacement from BMW
The bike is now spot on and so here comes the crunch, I called James Sherlock and explained the situation and they retorted the Throttle bodies were sold as shop soiled even though I was not told at the time and never bothered to look at there invoice. Secondly the Guy on the phone said I should have taken the bike to him before a BMW Dealer so they can evaluate the problem even though BMW were the ones to discover the fault. SO THIS MEANS SHOULD THERE BE A PROBLEM WITH A PART YOU HAVE PURCHASED YOU ARE COMMITTED TO RIDE TO DEVON REGARDLESS OF WHERE YOU ARE IN THE COUNTRY and there customer care sucks. I run a business and have done for 13 years and if my Company were run with James Sherlocks attitude I would be out of business,
SO BEWARE I WOULD NOT TOUCH JAMES SHERLOCK FOR ANY FUTURE PARTS.
