Jaunt around the peaks

Myself and a mate had a little jaunt around the peaks last Sunday. We both took delivery of our explorer xc's in October so thought we would have a ride out. Weather was a bit drizzly but went for it anyway. From Lincolnshire we headed over to Chesterfield to take a visit to the triumph dealer as I wanted to try on the Navigator suit. Must say it is a very nice suit, fitted really well and lots of well thought features. Anyway after this we headed over to Grindleford Station Cafe for a big breakfast and a pint of tea

We then headed to Hope, Castleton, over Winetts pass, Edale, Hope, Bamford, Glossop via snake pass, back across to Baslow and motorway home. 240+ miles and a good day. Had to stop on the way back to get the worst of the grit washed off before putting to bed.
