If you're heading for Brittany or Normandy later this month you might be interested in this small Jazz festival. It's at a lovely rural location on the Ille and Rance canal near Hede
Jazz aux ecluses ( (i.e "Jazz at the locks") Saturday Sept 20th - Sunday 21st
Lots of good 'biking roads in the area - and on the way to and from the ports. (I'll be happy to suggest a few). A few nice chateaux in the area and of course, Mont St Michel 50kms away.

The program is based on the history of Jazz so the program includes plenty of trad jazz not all that modern, progressive cacophony (joke!)
