Closest I’ve been on a bike in recent years was French’s bar in Gorey picking up my XT last week. Fine pub, fine pint
Be a bit wary of finding accommodation on the fly...Micky had some difficulty recently...
In general we had a degree of difficulty (pre trip) and it was more booked up than usual on WAW

You weren't too far away from me when you were riding from Dundalk to Newry John. I'm right on the border between the two.

We found there wasn’t much about, maybe unless you banged on doors or went to the Tourist info at 4-5pmAye but it was a bank holiday week (end)
When you were in a place we’d pre-booked - I had a wee look at booking.com for the place for that night and not much came up at all
