I got 45mm JBL, as standard with my older Cardo Black , and am KEEPING THEM for use with my latest Cardo Edge ( which ships with 40mm speakers )
Does the extra 5mm make a difference ; I think so , but either way, music is superb with these units .
Good luck with your search , and if unsuccessful you can purchase 45mm JBL new, for approx £73

I want to retro fit them into my sena srl2. So no idea about the quality over size, but thats whats recommended for fix.

And according to my girlfriend bigger is always better!!!!

Very strange thing.....

I tried the 45mm JBL and also tried the 40mm JBL on my Cardo Freecom and I actually prefer the 40mm
