Looking on the internet, Cardo sells these at £80 for the 45mm version. I assume this is the diametre? As a 40mm pair are £50..Go figure. Anyone got a spare headset, speakers only required

The diameter, isn't the whole thing, its a completely different speaker , with different audio parameters ,
Think of the free speakers you used to get on airplanes, compared to a set of noise cancelling units you get in first class , chalk and cheese
ive had my set of HD ones in both helmets over the last 3 years.
Yes there expensive, but they dont wear out, so can be carried over from helmet to helmet
So my £80 over 3 years, has cost me £ 2.20 a month in real terms
OK, that's a bugger. As my 45mm speakers in my day to day helmet have started a low buzz with base tones. Admittedly they are 5 years old. My second pair in my full face helmet are perfect but it has been used much less! Loathe to swap over so will either get a second hand pair off here or buy new and bite the bullet. Cheers

No, its definitely sounding like a low vibration on any base tones in one ear. Like a blown speaker in your teens...
