I'd just like to take an opportunity to say that Jefferies had a freebie look at my bike today after I noticed that the engine wasn't any where near as smooth at idle as it was prior to the 600 mile service.
Being an ex engineer (if there is such a thing) I find it nice to talk to the expert. Dan explained how that the idle adjustment on the 12 is regulated by the stepper motors, so effectively the adjustment sorts itself out.
Evidently early 1200s had adjusters that were blanked off on later models. This would explain posts on ADVrider stating that adjustment could be done with gauges.
So what I have, which is okay but not as good as it was, is what I get.
Jefferies also checked re software updates and I've got the latest release!
