Jesse Bags: My Dilemma

Having owned a set of Zegas I always fancied the more roomier but less wide Jesse bags, so I did my homework to make sure I could get mountings for both 1150 and 100GS and was told last year in Garmisch by Al Jesse and Kiwi Bob no problem but frames for the Odyssey bags to fit the airhead are special order and also will be a wider fit on the airhead too.

No problem thinks I the bags will only be an occassional fit and I'm in no rush. So last month I contact Kiwi Bob and enquire about a set of bag mounts for the airhead only to be told - they now sell a special set of bags for the airhead and no longer make mounts for the Odysseys

So now I either sell up and revert to Zegas which is a shame as I think Jesse Bags are the dogs dooh-dahs, or try and find a set of mounts without bags secondhand (hens teeth) or try and find a workaround by retro-fitting a set of 11XX bag mounts (which I can get off a mate dirt cheap ) for which I need to find a competent metalworker who doesn't rob me blind.

Anyone done something like this before??? Anyone got a set of airhead bag mounts for the Odyssey bags sitting in the back of their garage somewhere?
