Jesse panniers on 1150GS

Has anyone fitted a pair of Jesse ali panniers to a 1150GS? My rear indicators have fairly long stalks with threaded ends unlike the ones on the fitting instructions (no stalks) so don't see how I'm supposed to fit them without hacking them to bits. I gusess replacement ones easy enought to get but does the stalk part come off. Admittedly I've not tried pulling them to bits (yet).

Yes, the stalk part is held by two clamp screws inside the light unit, undo these and the stalk slides out. You should then fit the short stalk (supplied ?) and then bolt them onto the supplied brackets, so they look like this, but without the sag. If you want more detailed pic's you'll have to wait 'til tomorrow, and mine is an 1100 of course

Jeeze, that was quick! The jesse mounting bracket is just a hollow metal tube affair so hopefully once i've got the stalks out, it should fix to that then.

Yes I do need them, what with my narcolepsy and all
