A big thanks to Jim Hill of Nottingham for fixing up my V-reg 1150, which blew its front drive shaft u-joint last week at 155,000 miles. Locked the whole drive train too-if you're on a high miler, you might want to check it; mine had thrown all its grease out and exploded without much warning apart from a rather odd vibration a few minutes before. Anyhow, a big job done at a very reasonable price and a very nice bloke too-highly recommended.

This should really be in the east midlands section.. (with links to his website etc.) as a testimonial for all those looking for an alternative to Pidcocks.

I use Jim too. :thumb2

He's been doing sterling work for the biking fraternity for more years than I care to remember:thumb2

If that the same David V-B that used to live in Devon then hi! I used work for Ocean when you were a customer and it's good to see your still on the GS's! (Probably the same one...!!)

You sometimes wonder if you dreamt living "Sooth" after a while up here:D

Blimey Wrigsby1, you have a good memory! It's mostly the same one although a fair bit of it has been either broken or upgraded since I bought it from you. What are you doing all the way up there? How did you talk your way past the border guards?
