Will the jog wheel adjust volume whilst i am listening to music etc ?
My set up is great but i just cannot get the wheel to adjust volume like it says in the manual.

So far as I'm aware it will only work with the BMW helmets. Others may know more.

Looks like i might be getting the cardo JBL speakers then......

FYI - i have tried the “late night music” setting for the iphone and its the loudest you can get. :okay:okay

It’s amazing what the jog wheel could do but doesn’t
Well, go on then amaze us - what do you have in mind? Adjusting volume would be good but not amazing, whereas changing traffic lights or firing a missile would be amazing.:D

Any chance anyone knows if you can pause/play music loaded on the Nav 6 with the wheel? I'm having to use the touch screen.

I need to go and have a play later -

TBH I just whack the volume up full and leave it there

Isnt that the flatest narrow strangled setting you can get?

you just want full banging choonz mode ;)

if you jog to the music screen, and then hold the wheel over, it will start to play. Having done this I'm sure ive moved it up and down to adjust volume? :)

In order to get all functions working as advertised for the wonderwheel you need a BMW helmet with their latest audio system installed and a TFT bike.

As long as you stay with a BMW helmet for rider and the pillion, all is fine. The problem arise when you try to communicate between the BMW helmet and any other brand of com system. BMW now use a system made by Sena, but if I understand it correctly, even another Sena system will not Communicate with the BMW system.

As crazy as it may sound, it has been explained to me that the protocol for the volume control is not part of the BT standard, hence the BMW helmet use a slightly different protocol, used by no one else.

If more detailed information is required regarding the workings of the bike, it helps to inform about the gear in question (like TFT or not, what type of GPS and what year of the bike)

If you buy a Cardo Packtalk Bold you can adjust the volume with the roller wheel on the headset ! will get JBL speakers, can communicate with up to 15 other Packtalk riders in a pack, get sat nav verbal instructions, listen to music off your phone or nav, listen to radio through pack talk or off your phone (if you downloaded radio apps), make or recieve telephone calls, use the volume auto-gain that increases volume as road speed and ambient noise increases, which ever function is 'speaking' roll the roller wheel on headset to adjust that 'particular' volume, have a 'pecking order' for priority, and a waterproof headset. Can't see why anyone would want more to be honest.

Hi Micko.
I agree.
I only have the Cardo freecom plus 2 and its fantastic.
I can do all the above that you mentioned with that. It never fails to work for Music/ nav/ comms - i love it.
Shame bmw didn't allow us all to use the wheel for any helmet volume thats all......

wunderlinq lets you use the wheel for a few more things like switching apps and turning up and down the volume.

It allows for the things that BMW should have done.
