John "Bunny" Hill

more about the background to the dedication.

It's for others to answear your question more directly since I only met him the once.
We were taking part in the Bracken Rally based in Rhyader, mid Wales.
He was using his GS1150, at the end of a tiring first day John had to return home due to a domestic issue. Sadly he was killed in an accident on his way.

His partner, Annie later became a good friend and with her daughter came to stay with me for a few days and I learnt a little of what a special man John 'Bunny' Hill was.

John sounds like a man deserving of respect.

If appropriate, pass on my belated condolences to his partner Annie and daughter. It must be some consolation to know that he is remembered with such affection and respect by his friends on this site.

I have to say that I never met John, but he worked at Bracken in south London.

You don't have to go back more than a few years to the days when motorcycle GPSs were in their infancy and were very much a black art. John was at the forefront of extolling their use and helping others to get the best from them.

All I can say is that John was a Fantastic human being. Still very much missed by the people who knew him.

I have resisted posting here, because what can you say?
And, perhaps bizarrely, what I shall remember him most for, is that he sold me a Toilet Roll holder for my GS. On the grounds that "I knew you would want this, so I ordered it in".
He was also kind enough to test it out at a Bike rally just to make sure it worked and then threw in a half used roll of very scratchy bog roll gratis.
Missed? I havent been to Bracken nor bought from Touratech since.
