While I'm handing out plaudits can I add one for Alan Dalziel at John Clark BMW for all his assistance in making the collection of my new bike, this afternoon, such a pleasant experience.

Here's a wee, spontaneous and totally unposed shot of myself and the aforementioned Mr Dalziel , taken by my lady wife just before I rode off and after we'd liberally doused the bike in FS365. Not forgetting the unreserved praise for my lady wife for taking such a fine photograph.........oh and for buying me such an excellent Christmas present.....

It was fluoro yellow and silver and I'm wearing it in the picture....

I passed the end of your road twice yesterday but it was cold and dark and I was having far too much fun to stop. Today I've been bimbling around Edinburgh and catching up with old friends there. I'm amazed at just how much fun it is to ride a GS on greasy cobbles and roads covered in shite......
