Just had an 11 plate GSA loan bike while my GS was having the rear shock replaced. Ran out with 2 bars showing and 57 miles range on the display, and no yellow warning triangle. Put a gallon in and about 5 miles down the road the triangle came on! Then stopped and put another 3 gallons in. Still 2 bars showing, and stayed like this right until I gave the bike back. Bike had 3k on it. My bike is an 08 and the computer is actually pretty accurate. So far anyway. I don't take a lot of notice of it though, still do it old school style using the trip zeroed at every fill up.

Knew I was low and on way to refuel ,but ran out about 2 pm today with 20 miles showing on trip. Not far from home so wife rescued me with gallon can. After getting it going again trip dropped down to 10 miles, even though just put gallon in tank. Very close to NOG so called in for chat. They gave me loan bike and sent me on my way telling me to come back in a couple of hours. By 4.30pm had my bike back with new sender or whatever it needed.

Beat that for service !!

'07 GSA with 60,000 miles and no problems. But does (and always has) taken time to reset and turn off the triangle after a refill. Assumed this was normal?
