Jump Starting

Just before I try.....the battery on my R1200GS is a bit flat, can antbody tell me if it is safe to do a jump start from a car battery. I'm not sure if this will potentially give a problem with the ABS, Canbus etc?

Dunno about on the bike but remember to leave the car switched OFF so it does not think there is a drain on the car...

I cannot imagine it causing a problem - both at 12v and the amps are only what is drawn by the bike...

Shouldn't be a problem. RAC gave me a jump using a booster pack - no dramas

Leave the car engine OFF. Make sure you DO NOT arc to positive terminal out on the frame. It's easy to do on a bike and it can cause problems.
