As part of Ballymena Carfest this year there will also be a 100ft x 30ft marquee which is provided for us bikers to cover our precious metal. This is a great day out altogether and this year the organisers are looking for vintage bikes, specials, your pride and joy, basically any bike that you would care to enter for a bit of fun.
There are plenty of other things to do during the day so as well as posing next to your bike there will be a huge turnout of cars, vintage, specials, sports cars, kit cars etc etc.
There will be a stunt display by Paul Swift (son of Russ Swift) who does some rather nifty parking maneuvers. There is a F1 Toyota on display and some fantastic trucks with amazing paint jobs (if you like that sorta thing
) plus vintage tractors etc etc. There are also trade stands from local car dealers, kids entertainment etc etc
It would be great to see some nice bikes this year as the show has grown year on year now to what must be one of the biggest of its kind in the country. There is a tonne of stuff to see.
You can just turn up on the day so dont worry about that, if you're bringing your bike tho get there early
Check the Ballymena Car Fest Website for more info.
Again all proceeds go to Macmillan
This really is a grand day out, plus if you buy a raffle ticket you stand the chance of driving home in your new car
