Hi All,

First time post so excuse any pre-answered questions :blast Should receive my new 1200GS in about two weeks time, thunder grey in TE spec minus the LED (it's a Turkish thing) and spoke wheels (definitely a Turkish thing with the pot holes here).

1. Anyone tried fitting the Garmin 600 to the Nav Mount? Don't want to invest on a new 660 if the 600 fits.
2. Anyone fitted enduro pegs yet? When testing the Adventure they felt so much better than the pegs on the 1200 & 650.
3. A bit stuck on pannier choice, on my 650 I've used the Givi Trekkers which have been brilliant, even managing to fend off a Turkish taxi and two drops off road with minimal damage, but I read that I have to wait some time for the fitment kits unless I use SW Motech kits.
4. I still at a loss on what tyres are fitted standard on the spoke wheels? I'm hoping their Anakee 3's as the Anakee 2's I fitted to my 650GS were good for close to 16,000kms (rear is still good).

At least I found out you can retro fit the LED light, but on advice I won't. Seems your pretty screwed if anything happens to the glass.

Still a bit nervous about getting the 1200, big step up from the single 650, but so looking forward to it :bounce1

I went from an F650GS to a R1200GSA. Was apprehensive on the way to collecting the GSA, had I made a terrible mistake? Would it be just too big?
Within five minutes of leaving the BMW dealer on the new bike I new that I had been needlessly worrying. It is such an easy bike to ride and any sense of the bike's size disappears instantly. You will love it.
I recently had a chance to try out a new Sertao (re-vamped F650GS/Dakar) off road. I was so disappointed. It felt like I was on a hair dryer powered scooter.
I too had the Anakee 2 on my f650GS and loved them especially in the wet. I've recently replaced the Tourance on my GSA with Anakee 2s. Be warned, the Anakee 3 is a very different tire from the 2. Initial reports on them seem to be favorable though.
