I bit the bullet.
Since I'm going to Spain in April, I got a Gold subscription to MRA planner and started using this, instead of Basecamp, to plan the trip - so I can see if I can "make friends" with it.
To be fair, the Michelin Maps layer was the only thing the I needed to be convinced, since I routinely plan in Basecamp keeping Michelin Maps open in a browser window and try to match the green-marked roads
On MRA it's simpler.
Anyway, couple of questions:
1. is there any way (or any plan in the roadmap) to be able to download the maps, or a portion of it? I'm looking at the scenario of having to edit local routes while traveling and having poor/no connection on location. I still have BC with all on my laptop, but I'd rather use one tool.
2. Is there a measuring tool? Like the BC ruler? Or do I have to create a temporary route to understand distances to certain points?
Apart from that, I'm getting along with it. The user interface is dreadful though. Hope they hire someone to make that better in the near future.
