Does it really need a BWM branded and dedicated part to stop shit flying from a short mudguard ?
There are any number of universal one size fits all mudguard extensions out there

less is better! i washed and waxed it yesterday, its a joy to clean, the finish and coatings and design are top drawer and seems a shame to hide it all under guards and stuff, protection tape for me, i did all my 08 adventure in it, ive just sold it on flea bay, i advertised it "as new" condition, the guy who bought it said on his feedback it was in better condition than advertised! i just peeled the tape off,:aidan

9 x 3 mate im having it done again cos that was off my adventure gonna make it a bit deeper say 3.5"
there no akro's to be had i was told last night, they cant get hold of em, dealers going to ring me today with an update

I wasn't given a date for my Akro (sic). I was told that they are not homologated yet, but there is stock at the factory. Be interesting to hear what your dealer has to say. Nippy Normans are quoting delivery end of may.

Every other week I'll check with my dealer, but there's still no news from BMW.:rolleyes:

Not bothered about a BMW branded extender but neither touratech, wunderlich or pyramid do em yet ! I think you have to have a properly designed/fitting part to make it look right, after all it is an expensive bike so why cock it up with a universal botch up.
