Just an idea at the moment

I have found a pub on the SE edge of Exmoor with a small campsite behind it.

I have a ride pretty much sorted in my head which would be about 80 mile around with about 20 off road sections and 4 or 5 fords.

There is alot on this year up untill september but after Princetown it all goes a bit quiet.

I was wondering if anyone would be interested in something like this in late september or early october.

It would be GS only, TK's a must.

Further -
I reckon the best date for this would be the weekend of saturday October 6th.
We could ask the pub if they would do a cooked breakfast for pre-booked numbers on the saturday.
Most of the RUPPS in Somerset have been blanket down graded to Restricted Byways but this ride would use them under the '5 year rule' (and no one cares anyway).
There are lots of nice roads around here for anyone wanting to camp but not go off road.

Well after staring at the diary for the last hour trying to sort a date that is ok for both of us, Adrian and I have two choices.

1. Leave it untill next year
2. Have a hardcore camp / Off road weekend at the end of November

So for now I'll close this thread and make enqs this week to ensure that we can camp here at this time of year and if not find another location.
Details of the weekend on a new post with-in a fortnight.
Dates Friday 23rd - Sunday 25th November.
