I bought the lead from nippys that plugs in to the canbus socket under the beak, and I believe you don't use the middle lead just the other two,but which one goes into the red end of the sat nav lead and which into the black, sorry I know it's a numpty question !

The wires to the socket on the bike are as below, but you don't need to use 2

(1) Brown = ground
(2) Blue/Green = Speed Pulse
(3) Red/White = 12V

The yellow wires on the plug you've bought are marked 1, 2 and 3.
