Agree with Stu-13 and Trip
Like Stu-13 I must be one of the 10% who are dependent on their bike. Was a car driver, but thought I would give biking 365 days a year. I would be lost without my bike, so for me it's good to know what's good and what's bad about it. If I'd read this site before I'd got the 1200GS I'd probably have steered clear. But that said, the site has put my mind at rest about many things and made me keep my eyes on others.
My attitude to the bike has changed as a result of this site. Now I just think "go on you f**ker, break!" But with that thought I get on and enjoy the bike. It's there to be ridden. Yeh, I used to think of BMW being synonymous with quality and reliability - now I think "maybe not". I've thought about selling the bike everyday...but the more I look around, the more I think, "Well actually I like the 1200GS". So, yes keep on griping about the negatives, keep on providing the useful "Good to Know posts". If I'm not experiencing the same problems, then I can just assume I'm having some of the positives of this bike.
