What has surprised me is the size/mass, it's seems small compared to the 1250. This is the first time I have purchased without a test ride or look at , hence my surprise.

It's loaded with every extra (apart from Sky Sports) so I thought....then discovered it does not have a power socket, it's extra.

Fit and finnish is a step up from the 1250.

I had one for 2 days earlier this week when my RT went in for the cardon shaft recall

Unfortunately the bike was a poverty spec variant and the stock (non ESA) suspension was truly awful.

The rest of the bike however was great :thumby:

A unicorn

Bet there’s not many of those built
It surprised me a little too

Not sure if the damper adjustment for the rear shock should have a knob for manual adjustment like every other bike I've ridden but this one didn't. Just the rod with a hex head end. How you are supposed to adjust it without a tool is beyond me ? :nenau

Is it adjusted by a spanner ?

Very nice.
BUT, if I’d just spent £20k + on a new bike I’d make damn sure they put one on!
What a piss take!

It looked like it and there may well have been a spanner under the seat for just this requirement? but surely it would have been better for them to stick an adjusting knob/handle on it so that it could be done without the need for tools
