Just dropped the bike off for the 12k service

Didnt fancy doing the valve check myself so decided to let Clarkes do it. Maybe i'll do it at 24k ;)

Been gibe a F800R as a loan bike until tomorrow morning. First impressions, nice looking little beast, great throttle response from essentially the same engine (higherlift cams etc), but good lord its uncomfortable compared to the GS!!! Legs round my ears, weight on the wrists and harsh as f**k ride, reminds me of my old gixer days, and i'm sure the more out and out sports bikes are even worse! Maybe i'm getting old, maybe the GS has spoiled me, i'd be looking at the new suzuki GSR750 and ducati naked bikes as a fun bike in the garage, but i now have no desire to ride anything but an Adventure bike :clap

I know exactly what you're talking about though and they are poles apart.
