Unless you’re using it in competition you can ignore the stated service schedule and do quite a few more miles between oil changes . I had one and had no issues with it

It wasn't the oil changes that worried me, it was the regular crank, piston and valve changes that were more of a concern.
 
Not necessary unless it is “competition” ridden and absolutely thrashed

I had one bought with 41h and sold it with 380h no problems except new injecter. oil change between 20-30 hours, great bikes
