It was a toss up between the GSA dark screen (see my other post) or genuine BMW Aux LED lights, so given the fog yesterday, and shite weather that is coming, I figured LED spots would be a wiser purchase right now. As the bike is in the garage at the moment, and Vines are doing an offer saving £101, it's a good time to do it. They will fit them, and I should get it back tomorrow.:thumb

Will post some pics once I get it back.:beerjug:

Maybe Santa Claus will buy me a GSA screen for Christmas.:comfort

£380 for led's
£320 for standard halogens
Includes everything you need however even if you fit yourself they have to do a software update on bike, estimated about £25
N.B. the electrics to plug these BMW oem ones to is under the tank , that put me off fitting them myself.
Have a look at these , £220 delivered easy peasy to fit, no extra switch required works off the full beam flasher.

Aha. So the price I saw is an upgrade from premium pack spots. Pic to follow.

suggest anyone doing this looks on bikevis.com, may not be quite the same quality but the price drop is massive
i wired mine into the unused sat nav supply via a switch as its low current, no relays and no Canbus issues or reprogramming

These are not just marker lights, 90% of it is heatsink for the driver. They're brighter than the halogen ones.

And way cool.

i bought the led lamps for my gsa from vines, cost me £178 quid and i fitted them myself(piss easy).

BMW also suggest a 189 quid option for 2 lights....

The lights were £90 each when I bought them 7 months ago:thumb
See this thread, http://www.ukgser.com/forums/showthread.php?t=267025&highlight=Foglights

If you already have the GSA, you already have the brackets, cables and switch, so £90 per light is about right. The kit for £415.00 is for the lights, brackets, cables, switch and all labour. From calling 3 dealers, I'm happy that £415 is a good price (although I did take a deep breath before I ordered them:D):thumb
